JT Wahlberg was an alcoholic for over 20 years and finally quit drinking 6-1/2  years ago.  JT stopped cold turkey and it almost killed him.  When he finally checked himself in at emergency at the hospital doctors estimated he was about 15 minutes from death.

Quitting cold turkey worked for JT.  He hasn’t had a drink since that day he almost died, but he wouldn’t recommend the way he quit drinking to anyone.
