On the night of the 25th of February 1992 Constable Paul Johnston and his police service dog Troy were dispatched to a domestic violence call involving a firearm.

Troy was killed that night by the gunman who eventually surrendered.

I wanted the 100th episode of The Courage Wolf podcast to be special.  I wanted to honour a heroic police service dog and also honour the special bond that still exists between Paul Johnston and his friend and partner Troy.
